How We Verify Tokens
No black boxes. No secret algorithms. Here's exactly what we look at when deciding which contract is the real one for a ticker symbol.
The Process
Submission
Anyone can submit a token through our verification form. We collect project details, links, tokenomics, and team information.
Automated Checks
We automatically verify the contract address on-chain, pull data from DexScreener, and cross-reference against known scam databases.
Manual Review
Our team reviews the submission, checks all social links, evaluates community activity, and scores against our criteria.
Decision
Token is either verified, rejected with reason, or flagged for additional information. Projects can resubmit after addressing issues.
Verification Criteria
Each submission is scored across these categories. A token doesn't need to pass every single check — but critical categories must be satisfied.
On-Chain Verification
Critical- Contract address exists and is a valid SPL token mint
- Token metadata matches the claimed name and ticker
- Mint authority status verified (renounced or active)
- Token supply matches stated tokenomics
- Contract is not a known scam or copycat address
Liquidity & Market Presence
High- Active trading pairs on at least one major Solana DEX (Jupiter, Raydium, Orca)
- Minimum liquidity threshold met (prevents micro-cap impersonators)
- Trading volume is consistent and not wash-traded
- Price data available on DexScreener or equivalent
- Token age — older tokens with sustained activity score higher
Project Legitimacy
High- Active website that matches the project description
- Active X/Twitter account with real engagement (not bot followers)
- Consistent branding across all platforms
- Community presence (Discord, Telegram) with real activity
- Project description is coherent and matches actual token utility
Third-Party Listings
Medium- Listed on CoinGecko and/or CoinMarketCap
- Included in Jupiter verified token list
- Listed on any centralized exchanges
- Featured in reputable crypto publications or directories
Team & Transparency
Medium- Developer or team name is publicly known
- Team is doxxed (fully or partially) — not required but adds trust
- KYC completed with a reputable service — not required but adds trust
- Security audit completed — not required but adds trust
- Open-source code available on GitHub — not required but adds trust
Duplicate Resolution
Critical- If multiple tokens claim the same ticker, the one with the highest combined score wins
- Priority given to: earliest launch date → highest liquidity → most community adoption
- Disputed tickers are flagged and reviewed manually by the team
- Projects can appeal rejected verifications with additional evidence
- Verified status can be revoked if a project is found to be fraudulent
